SD cards and SDHC cards

I think I've found out why my brand spanking new SD card is crashing my laptop and is being ignored by the Edge - it's an SDHC card. Could someone from Entourage maybe confirm this? Otherwise I'm not sure why it shouldn't work on either computer...but I'd be very happy if someone else has any ideas

k

EDIT: meh, should have checked the ongoing sd card thread first - soory about that! It looks like some people have no problems with SDHC cards, so any other ideas would be really appreciated now! the card I have is a Transcend 8gb class 6 (on which I just spend 24 Euros, please let me be able to use this, German shops are not good with returns for opened goods!)

Some cards just don't work in the eDGe. Be sure to post your make & model in that other thread so others know to avoid it.

Meanwhile, this post may be a way to get such cards to work: http://www.entourageedge.com/forums/...full=1#post648.

Thumbs up resolved

ok, this is very weird, but I finally got the Sony reader to format the sd card, and then it mounted on the mac and I filled it with epubs, popped it into the Edge and it worked fine.

I guess the link you send, Boris, would have worked as well, just saw it too late. But thank you anyway!
