Is there any way to download images manually? I fetch article images from the feed and want to use them as toc images for Kindle, but add_toc_thumbnail() needs the image to be already downloaded. It would be great if it were possible to download images without adding them to the HTML previously.

Simply add your images to the html in preprocess_html, then they will be downloaded as normal and can be used in add_toc_thumbnail()

If I remove the images in postprocess_html() then, the image is not downloaded.

As I understand, the image must be contained in the article's HTML - when it's passed to the converter - to be displayed in the toc. (right?) Is there a way to hide the image in the article? Any chance?
