International 3G, web browsing
It's not so clear from the official Kindle web page -- what does "global 3G connection" actually mean? Specifically, I'm interested in web browsing in Europe (Germany, Switzerland). Is it possible? Is there any difference in (web) 3G access in Europe between Kindles bought and registered in the US and those bought in Europe?
Thanks! Last edited by al35; 07-29-2010 at 03:04 PM. |

Nope, I can browsw fine in Sweden, but remember 3G isn't the speediest of networks and there are certain formats that will not display.

Does it cost money to use the 3G outside of the U.S? I live in Canada, would I get any extra charges?
