Side-load into the B&N eReader

I would like to be able to side load ePub files into the B&N eReader on the iPad or on the PC. Anyone know how to do this?

Unfortunately most of the software readers are closed. Kindle, B&N, Kobo....etc..... Interestingly enough iBooks is pretty open at least with DRM removed. Stanza of course will take books of several formats with the DRM removed.....
