Disk image restore question
Hi All,
Apologies if this has been covered in previous posts, but I've been hunting for a few hours now and thought it easiest just to post a new thread myself. Ok, so the short story is, I updated my software on my Kobo Glo and it has hated me ever since. It will not turn on/respond. I tried hard reset; no success. Tried factory reset; went to the start of the reset window, but then stopped after 4 seconds. Tried recharging, kobo tech support...etc So I then tried to restore the disk image. A very kind person on these forums gave me a glo disk image file to restore from. I'm a mac user, so restored the image to the micro sd through disk utilities, the process seemed to go quite smoothly, but when I reinstalled into the kobo device, I still have no success. I then tried the same process with a different micro sd card, same outcome. Does anyone have any other thoughts or ideas? Or should I lay it to rest? Cheers Ice |
