WeTab video from IFA. Now running MEEGO

this is turning out really good. It looks like its running very well and their OS is smooth and fast for the most part. I like that its running Meego as there will be plenty of Apps including support fro Android apps.

They are already taking pre-orders in Germany and they had retail brick and mortar partner there as well. apparently in Germany the pre-order for WeTab is have higher sales(on certain fronts) than iPad. There is a chart from Amazon.de in this article http://www.geek.com/articles/gadgets...rmany-2010092/

Does look superficially like it's better in almost every way to the ipad. 449€ for the wifi only one is pretty tempting.

Only thing the ipad seems to better it at is the graphics chip and the battery life (although idevice battery life always plummets like a stone on intensive gaming). Full 1080p output is a massive bonus (provided this has the grunt power to decode 1080p vid files)
