Copy Saved Searches to Second Library

Hi:

I am trying to setup a second library in order to use to do my editing before I put the books into my main library. I have created the second library and created the custom columns so that they are the same as in the main library. Is there an easy way to copy over the saved searches so that they show up in both libraries? I've done a forum search and I've seen some posts regarding batch files and duplicate settings, excluding the fact most of it flew right over my head, I would like to use the multiple library function because I want to be able to copy the books over to my main library once I complete all my editing. Is this possible or is it best to just stick with the one library and work from there?

create your second library by copying the calibre library folder using windows explorer and then point calibre to the copied folder. Then delete all books.

Your existing saved searches will be present.

And that way you don't even have to recreate custom columns

Thank you, never thought to do something as simple as that.
