That's nifty.
For anyone else wondering about the beautiful sounding music in the video like I was, I've saved you the trouble. |

Odd - the first youtube shows the playback ability. Yours is blocked for some reason - Firefox (both showed up when I opened IE) |

Wow. It is now at version 0.3 and it seems more languages might be forthcoming.
I posted a suggestion to make the install/uninstall scripts less intrusive: http://forum.eksiazki.org/post72785.html#p72785 |

Atm, I'm working on improving quality of spoken voices, which requies some files from K2, I'd be very grateful if someone with usbNetwork could provide me entire rootfs/some specified files.
Also, please do post your suggestions, requests. Available languages list for K3 : http://goo.gl/XP2Wa Last edited by seaniko7; 04-17-2011 at 10:30 PM. |

i just tried it. it's awesome! i love it. I'm excited by the fact that this may open up options for a better english one
btw, i tried the UK Packs. If anyone is wondering, I think they're speaking in Standard British RP (if that makes a difference). |

Hey, I used google-translate to figure it out.
1) install launchpad (it's here in mobileread https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97636). The installation process wasn't explained articulately on the page so this is what i did -Download lpad-pkg-xxx.zip -Take whichever install.bin file is compatible with your kindle -Put it in your Kindle root directory -In your kindle settings, select Update Kindle 2) put the TTS folder (That you downloaded in the polish forums) in your kindle root 3) the zip file also came with an installation.ini put that file in your launchpad folder directory 4)Press [Shift + F + I] -Your kindle will freak out a little bit -you should get a message saying "Success!" 5)Restart your Kindle. 6)Try it out! To Uninstall press [Shift + F + U] That's what I got from google translate. There's something about "Recovery" but i didn't quite understand it. Maybe those are the originals? i dunno. |

It's all about preparing TTS files so they do look like Kindle ones, also you have to specify names of dictionaries for each language in *.hdr files, and then create symlinks or overwrite original ones.
