PRS-505 at closing Circuit City stores: $210 and dropping

If you are looking for a 505, check out your local closing Circuit City store. My local one had a bunch for 30% off, making it $210. Since they had so many (about 10 I think), I didn't buy it yet.

I had 2 different friends at 2 different places in the US on business. Asked them both, both negative

My bad luck I guess. Ended up ordering one online.

One CC had 3 of them in the laptops area, the other one had 10+ in the MP3 player cabinet.

Also, the AC adapter was 50% off. I think one of the stores had the cover light, too.

Update: It is now $179.99. The AC adapter and light cover would be the same discount.

You might find a couple of red ones, too.

I have been to three separate CCs here in San Diego this past week and have not found a single Reader. There'll be closed for good in a couple of days. I would buy two or three at that price.

Yeah, I went to the one in Clairemont hoping to find the lighted cover, nothing Reader related there.

I went to my local CC and 90% of the store was cordoned off. All they had were Will Smith movies, a couple PC games, some cables, like 5 tv's, and probably 5 laptops that they were loathe to discount more than like 10%.

Wisconsin. Though I just stopped into one yesterday that I had been to on Saturday and it seemed like certainly less items. They used to have 10+ Sony readers, none left.
