Kindle K3 or LG?

I'm noticing that Amazon are officially describing their new Kindle as 'Latest Generation' to differentiate it from other Kindles, whereas the fans and users are calling if the Kindle 3 or K3. Maybe we should start calling it the 'LG' from now on. Just a thought.

The trouble with LG as a device name is that this designation will shift when Amazon ships a newer device. I don't know why Amazon does not call it the Kindle 3, and this seems as good an unofficial designation as any. In the E-book Reader Matrix, I called it "Kindle 3G+WiFi". WiFi is currently a unique identifier for this Kindle generation, but presumably the Kindle 4 will also have WiFi.
