Help - Kindle3 completely frozen
Hi,
I need help urgently. My Kindle doesn't show any words anymore. I can enter the Menu but when I try to reset the Kindle to factory defaults it freezes immediately. Is there a way to reset the Kindle via a computer? |

What exactly happens when you turn it on and when you reset it? Is it completely dead? Does it turn on but not work properly?
There isn't any way of resetting it from the computer. There is a reset method which is part of the recovery system but you generally shouldn't need to use that. If your Kindle is as buggy as you say then it is probably something for Amazon CS to work out. |

Leave it on the wall charger for a couple of hours and then do the reset by holding the slider button ro the right for 20 secs. Let go and it should reset.
Amazon CS is 24/7, so you should call if it still doesn't start. |
