Book Stores in the US

Hi All

Could someone please tell me what the most popular book store for buying hardback or paperback books on line in the USA would be.

I need to research some info for my blog,

Thanks for your help!

I would say Amazon. Most of the US chains now sell online, but I don't think anyone has come close to catching Amazon. I could be wrong though . . . my information is anecdotal, not researched.

Good luck!

I have to agree with Filark. For online, it is probably Amazon.

Barnes and Noble and Borders have lots of coupons for deals also.

I do 99% percent of my book buying at Amazon, although I do occasionally fall back on Barnes & Nobles. So I would have to say Amazon is the best place.

If you're looking for a brick & mortar answer... Barnes & Noble seems to always beat out Borders, and Books-a-Million can't really put up a good fight. Although, Borders does also own Waldenbooks. The pair together might be catching up to B&N?

I live in the sticks and there's a Waldenbooks 20 minutes from me, that I hate. I do all of my book shopping on Amazon. :P Even before Kindle.
