Morrison, Arthur: Martin Hewitt, Investigator. v1. 16 June 07

This is all I know about Martin Hewitt -- quoting from another source:

"Morrison...also [produced] detective short stories which emulated those of Conan Doyle about Sherlock Holmes. Morrison's Martin Hewitt was a poor counterfeit, but some of these stories hold up today."

I hope you enjoy it. These are from the late 1890s.

I have yet to read anything by Morrison. Hey! Let me know if these are any good!

I think I'd have to say that the Arthur Morrison "Hewitt" stories were excelent detective fiction.I fell in love with them after seeing " The Rivals Of Sherlock Holmes " tv series in the 70's .
