How to find books with no metadata ...
I'm in the process of tidying up my entire library by making sure each book has a cover photo and the corresponding metadata.

Is there a way through the search feature to list only books that have no metadata fields or limited fields filled in?

You might consider the "Quality Check" plugin as one tool.

Everything on the Edit Metadata screen is Metadata

Not all fields are supposed to be populated for every book. (ex. series)

So each query has to be done one field at a time:
comments:false
publisher:false
cover:false
Author:Unknown

If you click a column in Library view, the blanks will float top or bottom (depends on Sort direction)
