Question Quickly return to last read book?

Hi,

If this is possible, I can't find out how to do it and would really appreciate any help

If I've just been in the browser or doing something else on the Kindle, is there a quick way of opening the last book I read without needing to go back into the collection and navigating to it? I have looked through lists of shortcuts, but there's nothing I can see.

Cheers,
Leaston

Repeatedly pressing the "Back" key will generally do the trick.

Thanks Harry, I just tried that, with some mixed results. After browsing a number of Amazon's pages, it's still far quicker to go Home and into the collections. If I've switched from one book to another though, it does work well.

What I'd really like is a shortcut keypress or similar to take me back instantly. Not to worry if there isn't one, I'll muddle on

If you sort your home page by "Most Recent" then press the Home key and it will be at the top of the list.

Is your Kindle sorted by "most recent first"? If so, the book you were last reading should be at the top of your home page.

Edit: I see BOb posted the same info while I was typing.
