Sigil 0.6.2 Released
Sigil 0.6.2 is now out. This is a small maintenance release to fix issues found in the 0.6.1 release. There is still a known issue with the cursor jumping in CV when saving but it isn't jumping randomly anymore.

The extra Pretty Print option has also been temporarily removed as there were one or two issues with it that need to be looked into.

I installed 64 bit version over previous 6.1
I now see that my preference for "pretty print tidy" silently changed to "off". was that deliberate ? |

Thanks for redoing the list of image files shown when deleting. It is much easier to see and lets you leave in one that you know you need. Great job as always.

I used Sigil for the first time yesterday and decided I liked it. So this morning I spent some time studying the manual. When I started Sigil, I got a message saying there was an upgrade. Obligingly, I installed it. That's the last I've seen of Sigil. The new version bombs on startup on Mac OS X 10.7.5.

@user_none & @meme --
The closing tag 'cleanup' in 6.2 works much better now. Don't know is it's the Tidy change, but now replacing things like <i> with blank will also remove the closing tag Other tweaks also nice Thanks Paul |

I have compiled Sigil 0.6.2 for Mac OS X 10.5 and later (64-bit Intel only).
It can be downloaded from my google docs folder here. It launches on my Mac OS X 10.6.8 system. Last edited by pdurrant; 12-07-2012 at 10:35 AM. |

I was getting an error message about malformed files when I tried to open an epub with 0.6.1. I tried 0.6.2 and so far everything is fine.
Thanks to user_none and everyone else who contributes to Sigil for all your hard work. It's such a great program now for editing epubs. --Pat |

OSX 10.6.8 has not been supported for some time. Any official release will not work on 10.6.8.

Thank you! I'm sure you will find the problem. I LOVE this program!! I used to have to dissect the .epub and edit using a text editor and browser when the epub format first came out. Then I discovered Sigil and I've been using it for about a year now. Editing epubs using Sigil has greatly improved our production time. It's a program I really enjoy using. Keep up the good work!!!

For some reason I can't post a new thread so I'll ask my question here since I haven't been able to do something using Sigil in previous versions and still cannot do it in 0.6.2: I can't search & replace from halfway down my file to the end ONLY. It always replaces throughout the whole file. Is there a trick I'm not aware of or can it just not be done. If that's the case, is this something you can fix in the future?
