HELP! new DR wont work

just got my DR and i connected it to the computer as described, before turning it on the first time and the led appeared red

but the manual says it should turn orange, so i tried to turn the DR on, but nothing is happening

do i have to wait until the led is turning orange or red before i can turn it on the first time? or is this something for the support?

what did your DR when you got it new?

after some reconnects and a reset, i could start the DR
then i turned it off, that the battery could charge faster, but now im not able to start it again and the led is not appearing while connected to the computer

*edit* working again after some resets, now its charging, when i connect it to the computer, but its also turning on
do i have the DR turned on the hole time while charging?

Yes, that is normal. For some reason, the DR turns on when connected to a charging source. Turn it off while connected. No lights will show, but it is charging.

didnt know that DR is charging without lights, so how do i know when the battery is fully charged?

Just leave it for an hour or so.
You can start it after about 20mins to 30mins and it will usually have enough to start and you can then see the little icon on the bottom of the display.
However, when you turn off, there is no indication that it is charging. This is indicated in the user manual that identifies the LEDs and colour changes, (from memory)
