Kindle Oasis. Is this normal?
Hi everyone. I have a kindle oasis for almost a month now . I didn't noticed any issues with it so far. I never use the light at max but today i did and i noticed some things on the screen. On the area where the screen is white when the lighting is at max i can see all over under the screen small "dust particles" or something like that , and on the black area (at startup ) and on book covers i can see lots of tiny white pixels , like bright stars on the night sky. I would like to know if this is normal or not? i can only see this when the light is on max. Thanks

The black on white looks like normal E-Ink artifacts to me. The white on black might be the same, made obvious by the very high lighting level.

Those speckles I am pretty sure are on all of my kindles. That is the backround. Now I can never see that because the closer my nose goes to a object, the blurrier it gets. . I also cannot look closely at my Oasis with its light at full blast without blinding myself, so I have no way to look that specific.

But I have noticed the speckled backround in all my e-ink kindles when squinting at them really really hard.

I can't see much on the pictures other than the speckles on the first one. I assume that is how mine look like that large, I wouldn't know, I can't see my Oasis this zoomed in.

This is normal. In fact, you can see such kind of spots more or less from different angle on almost all of the kindles at max light.

I don't believe I have that degree of speckling on my two Kindles. (If I do, I don't see it.)

Whenever I restart my device, I have blacks (at least, that's what I'm seeing).

Too, I see a large number of clustered black spots on your screen, right above and to the right of the 't' on 'Content.' The rest of that screen (in that first photo) looks normal to me.
