default screen saver images

is there a repository of the default kindle screen saver images? i hear about the dead writers but i don't have them, i have the tools and implements of writing and publishing the written word.

Yes there is. There located in /opt/amazon/screen_saver/600x800 or 824x1200, depending on which Kindle you have. Obviously you need USBNetwork installed to find them.

The "dead authors' society" were on the K1, K2, and K3, along with some art and architecture engravings. If you have the current Kindle (often called the K4 or baby) or the Kindle Touch--and it's not a Special Offers version--you'll see nothing but writing and printing related photographs.

how does one acquire the previous version's images? i want to add them to my K4 NT
