Does K2 now support (non-DRM) ePub???

Someone up in the Writers Corner said that Kindle now supports non-DRM'd ePub. I've never heard of an update for that, is it true???

If this were true, you'd find hundreds of posts here.
I haven't heard anything like that. And I don't expect it to happen (at least not in the near future). But of course you still easily can convert the DRM-free ePUB files into .prc, .mobi or .azw to read them on Kindle.

No, it doesn't. They're probably getting confused with PDF, which the Kindle now does support.

If Amazon know whats good for them, the K3 will support it!
E-reader/tablet competition is starting to heat up so we can expect big Kindle changes soon.

Any such support better be made available to the K2 as well.

Depends how badly they want to drive up their CS costs, I guess. "My stupid Kindle is broken!!! It says it reads EPUB books but it won't open this book I bought from Sony/Apple/Barnes & Noble. I demand you refund the money I spent on it right now!!!!!"
