The elastics do not cover the reading area nor does it cover the light sensor. The elastics are nice and firm holding it securely but flexible enough to easily slide my finger behind to reach the power button. I'm 100% thrilled with it. Now to order more styles so I can dress my kobo seasonally cause at this price (only $27 use) why not?

No for the Kobo Aura One. If she doesn't have it as an option in the listing drop down yet just tell her it's for the kobo aura one and she will custom size it.

Yes, I selected the one that was for smaller devices like ereaders and the iPad Mini. Then there is a drop-down box from which you can specifically select Kobo Aura One.

I picked the one that was for kindles and kobos. But she didn't have a drop down yet for the aura one.

Just ordered mine and saw the Aura One in the drop down menu. Cant wait to get it!!
