Conversion error in news fetch

Hi, folks, I keep getting the same error message when trying to fetch news. I have followed instructions in the calibre user manual. I have one notebook and two desktops. They all give me the same error message. (They are all operated by Windows XP Korean.)

I wonder whether the problem arises because a key folder name is written in Korean, not English. (See "c:\docume~1\���ocals~1\temp\calibre_0.7.15_6dk8op _plumber\feed_0\article_1\index.xhtml" below.)

Can you guys kindly help me on this one? I hope this problem can be fixed.

you need to change your username to something with only english characters.

Thank you for the quick answer! It seems that many of my fellow countrymen have the same problem as mine. I am told by some knowledgeable people that I would have to reinstall the operating system to change the user name under the My Documents and Settings folder. Dang.

Have you tried changing your Username using the method suggested in this article? (have not tried: backup you documents and settings first or creat a New User and test it on that one)
