Rotate Reader display to get Notebook in 'book mode'?

Hello,

I want to use my 15" notebook for viewing comics (colour). Is there any way to configure the viewer in calibre (or windows) to rotate the display for 90 degrees?
So I can use my notebbok like a book and have a 15" Screen.

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Kind regards

No in reference to calibre's viewer.

On my daughters netbook I grabbed a utility that allowed a quick rotation of the screen for reading PDFs. You might want to check for a laptop screen rotation utility on Google.

A related problem is viewing comics images produced by the recipe system for viewing on tablets. I wrote some code (posted in the code sticky of the Recipe subforum) that processes images to rotate them 90 degrees when they are wider than they are tall (as most comic strips are). That lets you turn the tablet to see the max dimension of the image on the max width of the display. It's not directly relevant to your problem, but if you are viewing comic strips via recipes (I've written several recipes for comics) it might help a bit. You may also get some ideas from the extra_css in those recipes applied to img tags.

Ctrl and left or right arrow should rotate your desktop.
