Kindle 1 and Calibre

Are there any issues with using Calibre with a Kindle 1st generation? When I try to copy a book to the SD card or device, Calibre locks up and the program cannot communicate with the device.

UPDATE: 8/16/12

Problem solved. It just started working for no obvious reason.

You need to provide more information.

Open a command window, then type

Code:

calibre-debug -g >debug.txt

Do whatever you do leading up to the crash, then post the contents of that debug log to this thread.
