kindle touch 3g (k5) vnc viewer

Hi,
can the kindle touch 3g run Kindle VNC viewer? https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=150434

if yes, does touch work during vnc sessions? in other words, can I use the k5 touch to drive the vnc server machine (raspberry jessie)?

thanks a lot

The device is jailbroken, correct?

Get command line access to it (telnet, ssh, kTerm) and do:
cat /proc/keypad

cut&paste the result (even if only an error message) in your next post.

That seems to be definitive.
The firmware your Kindle is running is not compatible with this add-in's scripting.
You will have to change or fix one or the other.

Why are you using sudo?
You are already 'root' (see the username in your prompt?), that is as highest privileged user as there can be.

What is your level of experience using Linux?
