Yes, the part that you quote I have absolutely no issues with; they are admirable sentiments. But that's just one paragraph. The overwhelming majority of the text of the Declaration is a long list of "crimes" that the British monarch has committed, many of which are of extremely dubious veracity, and whose purpose, as widely perceived from this side of the pond, at least, are to attempt to justify an act of treason.
