Battery Problems -- Not Charging Fully?

Hello all,

I've been noticing that when charging my Kobo the red light that indicates fully charged turns on early (maybe after an hour of charging from empty). When I check though the battery indicator is not fully charged. So I have to unplug and replug it back into my PC.

This isn't normal I'm assuming, would it be a problem with the battery not being properly calibrated?

Not sure what to do. I only seem to be getting about 1000 pages before i have to charge again.

edit: just noticed the other battery thread ... so yeah, basically same problem as outlined int hat thread

From what I understand each book or chapter load involves retrieving the text from the sqlite database and unzipping it. I suspect that uses more battery than page turns.
