In think one of the reasons we see so many superhero movie reboots is because of the need to change actors. Why not use high-quality CGI to do future superhero movies? We are approaching the point where the uncanny valley will be crossed, so you can give a superhero and cast a consistent look and keep it for decades. As an example: Batman from "Batman - The Animated Series" to "Justice League Unlimited" kept a generally consistent look for roughly 20 years. The same goes for the rest of the cast of the Animated DC Universe, despite at least one change in a voice actor (Superman, originally Tim Daly, then George Newburn)

Bud Collyer did a fantastic job on the old Superman radio series. His Clark Kent voice was rather high pitched, but every time he became Superman, he used a rich, baritone voice. That was a great old show!
