Author Sanders is actually Charles Willeford...

the famous mytery/thriller writer. I just now learned about this. Also, here's a quote:



Although Charles Willeford is not credited on this novel, it is a slight revision of a manuscript found in his files, called Deliver Me from Dallas by W. Franklin Sanders and Charles Willeford. In his book, Don Herron states that Willeford had once said in a letter that this was his first novel.
