Full page Image

I am in the process of converting my first book to a ePub (total noob)

While the text I can handle, the book sometimes have full page images. I am wondering if ePub's can show images as a full page on eReaders? (like my damaged Kingle DX and my upcoming Nook)

Also can ePub's show images inbetween sections of a chapter?

I have attached a image of a page(s) which shows both......

BTW: Please don't point out that Kindle's can't handle ePub's, I have Calibre.

You can force a pagebreak before an image, and you can scale the image to 100% page width (page height is trickier, and not very robust). Still, there may be some hardwired margins set by the reading software.

Yes.

So what? That doesn't make the Kindle support ePUB, and whatever you can do with ePUB, it's no use if you can't do it with Mobipocket, which is what the Kindle supports, not even Calibre can help with that.
