Are there any high-quality newly illustrated classics in ebook format?
Last week I bought a newly illustrated Dracula (illustrated by Becky Cloonan) and quite like it. I wonder if any other classics got similar treatment? In particular, I'm trying to find Jane Eyre or Little Women with new illustrations.
Thanks mimosa |

You might check the Mobile Read library here. There are some nicely illustrated editions here.

Delphi Classics (www.delphiclassics.com) offers high quality "Complete Works of ..." volumes of authors now in the public domain - with original illustrations included, and additional images too. These are DRM free huge collections - and available in ePub and MOBI at very reasonable prices.

There was something recently from either a new publisher and/or a new series that offered 3 or 4 classics for free on Amazon. This was about 3-4 weeks ago.
They were beautifully illustrated titles. Let me try to find those and I'll list the publisher and those titles. ---If another member here knows what publisher I'm talking about, please post it. Don |

From what I know of these two the illustrations are of the old public domain variety not newly created/modern illustrations/artwork that the OP is looking for. |

Found it:
Top Five Classics, put out by Top Five Books. The free title I picked up (about 3 or 4 weeks ago) is "Edgar Allan Poe: Complete Tales & Poems [Illustrated]" http://www.top-five-books.com/ Don |

Thank you very much Dr Drib. I've just got Jane Eyre, which is free on kobo & The Treasure Island, which looks really good.
And thank you poohbear_nc & Mike L for your recommendations. I do love Delphi classics, especially their poet series. Thanks anyway. By the way, I actually like the Dracula illustrations done by Becky Cloonan |

I also have a Kobo (for UK purchases), and was able to get Jane Eyre from them for free, whereas from Amazon it is still $1.99
Thank you for the information on that title! Don |
