Calibre 0.7.36 crash
Running the latest version of Calibre when pressing ok after editing metadata calibre becomes unresponsive and has to be killed. Heres the traceback:

After trying a few more times ive realized its not the metadata its just calibre, if i leave it running for long enough (under 5 mins) it just dies.

I can't replicate that, run it in gdb and produce a backtrace. I'm guessing that fontconfig is crashing on your system. But that will confirm it.

I guess im stupid, i cant figure out how to get it to load in gdb. Everytime i try to run it i get this error:
Starting program: /opt/calibre/bin/calibre /opt/calibre/bin/calibre: error while loading shared libraries: libcalibre-launcher.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Program exited with code 0177. |

first update to 0.7.37, there were a lot of bug fixes and that will eliminate the possibility that your crash is caused by one of them.
Run gdb like this LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/calibre/lib gdb |
