Display problem with E-book reader since 0.7.38

With the new update the epub reader is displaying the fonts in some news articles (e.g., Wallstreet Journal, Economist) in an inferior way compared to previous versions. They end up pixelated, please see attached screenshot of the Economist (free version). In previous program versions the display was flawless. Is there a workaround? Thanks!

click preferences in the viewer and turn off page turn animations, see if that fixes it.

Thanks David, but that has unfortunately not fixed it. Page flip duration is already disabled.

I experimented with different fonts, they all end up pixelated in some form or another for the body of the news message, however the line "his article was downloaded by calibre from http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/01/110112111117.htm" appears crystal clear.

Setting the font at a very large size somewhat helps improves readability, but is not satisfying altogether. I have also attached my font settings, maybe someone can comment on them.

I already have clear type enabled.

This issue has only arisen recently, in previous versions display of news has been fine. This may be an issue of the reader or the news feed.

All other books, pdfs, etc. are displayed fine as well, only the e-book reader with certain news feeds has slightly pixelated text, as one can see in the screenshots above.

Thanks for all your help!

If it's only with a certain news feed, then I'd say the problem was with the news feed.
