I have set hidden files to be shown.
I cannot find global.py but calbre does run. Where would the calibre user profile be stored? Sorry that I am seeking so much help. Would it be better for me to uninstall and then re-install the latest calibre (which is what I have now)? I could copy and save the recipes that I made for rss feeds I want, in addition to the supplied ones. |

On a default XP installation, the Calibre configuration files are stored at:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\calibre where username is your logged in username. |

I did find it. Though I had explorer set to show hidden files, I didn't realize that I had to tell search to look for hidden files. I deleted the scheduler file and now all is well. Thanks for all the help.
