Mere Christianity $1.99 (Kindle/B&N/PDF)
HarperCollins seems to be playing with their prices, but isn't announcing the bargains anywhere that I can find. If anyone sees lists of these somewhere, please let us know!
The C. S. Lewis classic Mere Christianity is $1.99 at B&N, Amazon and ebooks.com. If you buy it from ebooks.com, you can download it in both Adobe DRM-protected PDF and EPUB formats. |

Even though they don't advertise it, it turns out that ebooks.com has the mobipocket version for this book if you have a mobipocket reader ID. All three formats (EPUB, PDF, mobi) can be downloaded with the same purchase.

It is part of "The Big Deal" on Amazon's page for Kindle books. It could be in conjunction with another sale by Harper or the other sites could be price-matching.

Thanks, Difflugia. The ePub version has big margins, but I'll be able to fix that with calibre.

It should go without braying that this book is of interest to non-Christians, too -- even ones who aren't Lewis fans. In addition to stating and arguing his position unusually well (albeit reductively), Lewis offers debaters on all sides of the topic the opportunity to hone their arguments.
(Now, if only there were a sale on Allegory of Love.) |
