PRS650, How to display by series, in order?

my 505 used to display series as collections, the 650 doesn't seem to, is there a way to have it display by series, or at least group the books in the series together(in reading order would be ideal) they are all sequential and correct in caliber

If you have the Series assigned to all of the books from within Calibre, with the correct series order number, the Sony Readers will display it as a Collection, in the same order. I was a little puzzled at first too, cause it doesn't show the number, but checking the Calibre listing showed they were correct.

Worked on my 600, still works fine on my 650 and 350.

You can rename files in a certain way, then in the reader ask it to sort books by file name.
For example:
Rowling, J.K. - [Harry Potter 1] - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Rowling, J.K. - [Harry Potter 2] - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

It won't. Unless you trick it. I'm waiting for the Calibre update which will fix this!

(oh, in Calibre you can add "series" as collection tag, it will put all books from that series together. But if you want to show all books by an author, in series order, you're out of luck...)

The Calibre fix for this is underway. See this thread for more details (probably more than you want to read )
