Focus not properly shifting on links
I'm finding that on most links that are supposed to take you to another window actually don't. Something is broken and I'm hoping it can be fixed. I've set my settings to change the focus when a link is outside MR or on all links and I get the same problem.
This message https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...57&postcount=5 has a link in it that shows the bug. |

The link took me to a new window - am using Firefox 3.6.7 on XP. Don't see any problems.

I am using Firefox 3.6.6 on Windows 7 with Tab Mix Plus and it doesn't work like it used to. I've also tried it on MSIE 8 and it also doesn't work. The link in the message I linked does not take you to another window or tab. Last edited by JSWolf; 07-21-2010 at 07:26 PM. |

For me, the link IN the message opens a new window. No problems - tried it at work (XP Pro using Firefox 3.6.7) and home (XP Pro using Firefox 3.6.6)

In the UserCP i've enabled opening links in new window only for external links and it doesn't work anymore for me. (FF 3.6.7 on Windows 7)

The cause has been identified. We recently implemented various caching mechanisms to optimize performance; among it, we now cache forum posts including parsed links. I will see if this can be fixed somehow to still allow for custom settings in regard to how to open external links.

Some links do work externally though. That's the odd part. It's not 100% broken.

So any word on when a fix is forthcoming?
