Help with typing text

OK, I am one of those Neanderthals that has never texted.

On the JBL, how do you get the keypad buttons to switch from the default numbers over to text? (Like a shift key)

I am trying to jump to a particular place in the book and find myself much befuddled.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, if your looking for a page number, use the "jump to" option in the menu. Then use the number keys to input a page number.

If your looking to "find" a particular word or sequence, use the "find" command in the menu.
(Right above the "jump to) now the number keys will correspond to the letters. So press #2 for "abc" then 1,2,3 for which letter you want, A, B, or C.

I "think" that should fix you up. Yell if it doesn't.

There's also the T9 mode which makes typing most words much faster.

It's so easy, even a caveman could do it.
