I think there are no problems. If you mean DRM etc., Jinke V2 could be called a "book for notes" (not notebook pc).

It could be really with no reading program installed on it.

But, as we know, Jinke's firmware can be updated via SD-card, so - no problem, this reading soft can be only at CD with other software and user manual. With step-by step instruction how to install or update new firmware at Jinke's site.
