Hello from Joshua Tree, CA
Hi, I have a nook that I just adore and thought I'd join the forums to get help converting my files. I subscribe to professional journals and prefer reading them on the nook rather than printing the articles out and wasting all that paper!

Good to have your company, Jdiemart. Quite a few enthusiastic Nook fans here who'll be glad to offer advice. Best wishes. Neil

Thanks!
Thank you everyone!
Actually, I am thrilled with the nook so far. I was worried that I would miss that real book feel, but I really don't at all. I'm excited to see the web browsing beta feature, and am hoping that in the future I will be able to download my professional journal articles directly to the nook. I have never been able to stand reading for very long on the pc, and printing off pages and pages of articles gets really wasteful, so easier access to my journals via downloading pdf's is already a big plus, and if I could eliminate the "middle man" and go directly to the nook that would be awesome. I liked the nook so much, in fact, that two of my frineds recently purchased them. |
