in the product details, which is the Amazon code for DRM-free. Even if you don't strip DRM, there's no reason why you can't buy them and use a tool like Calibre to convert it to your favorite ebook flavor.

If they are free on Amazon that means the writers have decided to go Kindle exclusive, so you won't be able to get them anywhere else at any price. Being able to make them free for a few days once a month is what they tempt writers with.

I think I have more ebooks by this guy than any other author. Well, perhaps with the exception of Joe Konrath (another author whose bibliography is a bit confusing).
