[MacOS] read-only database
When I click on Calibre Library, then Switch/Create Library, a pop-up says:
Read Only Error; attempt to write a read-only database. I don't know where this database is, and I am not sure where my Calibre library resides, or if I messed it up, or maybe I just have an e-book list. I was attempting to create a new library with the ebooks I have. Thanks for any help. search for metadata.db
Calibre usually creates the DEFAULT (location) library within your users directory. Of coarse, you could have specified another location or moved it later. |
