KF8, Sigil, and font size

So I'm trying my hand at fixed-layout books with KF8 and using Sigil to check my positioning of text elements as an EPUB before I convert to MOBI. As a whole, the book's working okay, except for the text. After changing to MOBI, the font size is significantly bigger... too big to stay on the "page" it's supposed to be on.

I'll probably ultimately use the text pop-up feature to make the text easier to read anyway, but I'd still like to have decent looking typography before people click on it.

Any ideas? I don't own a Fire so I'm using the Kindle Previewer to check on the end result.

Thanks.
