A nice glass of Muscadet. Not expensive, but clean and refreshing.

Another fine day in Paradise, though it's a bit cooler and there's a bit of marine layer to burn off this morning, but still delightful.
Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea, plus fresh squeezed OJ. |

Everything always tastes so much better when fresh picked. I really need to plant more citrus trees. I have the simi dwarf trees and they do produce (tangelos and grapefruit), but not quite enough for me to have a lot extra.
I had planned on having strawberries with my breakfast this morning, but the birds got to them before I did. I may have to actually cover them this year. Making a new cup of coffee for my cup before I go out to work. |

Sitting here, twiddling thumbs, waiting on others. Not what one would wish, when you're a contractor paid by the hour and your clock can't start until they do their job. Though, of course, THEY get a paycheck regardless.

Glass of Glen Moray on the go right now. Not as good as a Talisker or a Laphroig, but not bad.

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright) Sun-Shiny day. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FscIgtDJFXg ) Good morning, everyone. It's looks as if it's going to be a very, very good new day! There is East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea in my mug, some miso soup and tsukemono beside it, and the scale gave me the good news that I now weigh 76kg. One more to go and I've reached my goal. These daily 10k walks and low calorie foods have done the trick once again. I CAN DO IT. I WILL DO IT. I WILL NEVER GIVE UP. Stitchawl |
