EPUB of manual seems to hide everything from section 1.1.1 to section 2
I have downloaded the current manual from 9 July 2021 and it seems that the ePUB version hides everything from section 1.1.1 Add books up to before Chapter 2 Adding your favorite news website.
PDF version is fine. Does this happen for everybody or is it a problem with my ePUB viewer Clearview? |

FWIW I used ADE and it seems to be there as well as in the Viewer
BTW, I may dump ADE since it messes up the cover and some of the CSS and just switch to the Viewer all the time (capture and capture2) But the Viewer has a lot of space after the "1." and the Editor doesn't seem to have (capture3). Other numbers too of course. Is that a Viewer quirk? Looks really funny. I like the way the Editor previews it |

Yep, works for me in calibre's ebook viewer.
System: macOS Mojave. So it must be something with Clearview... |

If you dump ADE, how are you going to buy any ePub with DRM?

Hmmm - looks different on mine
Are there any Viewer CSS options that I should check? As I said, it looks fine in the Editor and as far as I can tell, there's nothing in the manual.epub's CSS that would cause what appears to be a tab All decimal numbered list appear to be like that |

do you have some extra styles defined in the viewer settings? That's the only thing I can think of to cause it. You can use the inspector (right click and chose inspector button) in the viewer to check what CSS is beig applied to those elements.

Right-click, Preferences, Styles I changed text-indent to 0em (and text-align to left [personal preference]) and it looks much better Code:
body { color:rgb(0,0,0); background-color:rgb(234,234,234); text-align:left; line-spacing:1.8; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:4px; margin-right:50px; margin-left:50px; text-indent:0em; } h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { color:black; text-align:center; font-style:italic; font-weight:bold; } Thanks !! |
