Surge by Bonnie S. Calhoun is an interstitial novella, apparently at the #2.5 mark, in her Stone Braide Chronicles series of YA sci-fantasy adventure drama novels with mildly interesting-looking worldbuilding set in a post-apocalyptic US where radiation and tsunami have wrecked the world, this installment apparently continuing the adventures of the heroine as her life is vastly changed after the catastrophic events of the 2nd novel, free courtesy of Christian publisher Baker's Revell.

Apparently this is being released to promote the upcoming 3rd novel, due in November. We've previously received the 1st novel free, and novellas #0.5 and #1.5 are still free in multiple venues.

Currently free on a long-term basis as one of their selection of series-introductory promo novellas @ B&N, Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), iTunes & Google Play (both available to Canadians), & ChristianBook (ADE-DRM ePub available worldwide). For some reason this doesn't exist at Kobo yet.
