Frankly i think it does not offer anything new or better that you cant already buy from other china manufacturers like ONDA. For that price the storage is pretty paltry at only 8GB and it does not have any GPS it seams as well as having a lowish screen res of 1020x for a 9.7 inch screen(but that's the norm for china tablets ).

A better deal overall if you looking for a cheap 9.7 tablet would be the ONDA Vi40 Ultimate 32GB which is also cheaper at $215
I did a google search for the company - insignia and all it came up with was cars made by vauxhall motors

Onda on the other hand are a large manufacturer of android tablets in china and are sold by all the online china device specialists as well as on amazon usa & UK .They have a large following of cheap tablet owners and custom roms are being made regularly by there fans.

The ONDA as well as having more storage also has the benefit of having a HDMI socket to so you can port it to your big screen.

A lot of impulse buyers will walk in to Best Buy and end up walking out with one of these. There's just that feeling of security knowing you can bring it back to the store. It doesn't matter if there's a better deal online somewhere else.

Insignia is Best Buy's in store brand. In other words, any gadget made exclusively for Best Buy will generally be under the Insignia brand name. They have some good quality blu ray players and a few other nifty little gadgets.
