Avoid Kindle version of Doctorow's "City of God"

Just picked this up ( http://www.amazon.com/City-of-God-eb...0534338&sr=1-6)

Editing is rough... mainly in terms of paragraphs as there is no indents or lines between paragraphs so reading more than a few pages gets a little like reading a Henry James novel.

May not be a big problem for some of you, but I found it pretty much unreadable.

There's now a master list of books with formatting problems, which you can find here:

Unfortunately, it's been moved to a different forum.

Doesn't Cory Doctorow generally make his books available as DRM-free e-books? I got _Little Brother_ that way, and a bunch of his short stories. You might check and see if _City of God_ is available from him--it may not have the formatting problem, plus it's DRM-free! Win-win.

This is by E. L. Doctorow, not Cory Doctorow

I did the same thing.. someone said "Doctorow's City of God" and I went to the site... couldn't for the life of me figure out why Cory didn't have it up.

And then I figured it out.
