Cybook or Iliad best for pdfs?

I have a Sony 505 which is perfect for me as I mainly read novels.

I want to get an e reader as a present for a friend, who needs one to read pdfs that include many diagrams, tables and are often in Arabic.
I tried out sample pdf files for him on my Sony, and the Arabic sections and diagrams were far to small to read even after zooming(seemed to have little or no effect.)

I am in the UK, and really would like some advice as to which e reader would be able to make both tables, diagrams and Arabic text large enough to be readable.I think it is between the Cybook or Ilead, but if another make would be better please let me know.
I want to ensure I get him the best one for the job.

Thanks.

The iLiad would be better, because it is larger and because it has a very flexible zoom option (circle the region you want displayed with the stylus). The very best option is now the iRex DR1000S, which has a screen as wide as the iLiad's is high (163x203 mm vs 122 x 163 mm). The DR1000S may be too large for some applications, but it certainly has the best EInk PDF capability currently available. If you go with the iLiad, get the Book Edition because the WiFi on the 2nd Edition usually isn't very useful.

Thanks for your response wallcraft. I suspected that the Irex would be better for his purpose.
Seems like I will have to start saving now for his birthday present as that e reader is more than twice as expensive as the Cybook.
You get what you pay for though I suppose.
