no, you must first convert the pdf to an editable format (html, doc, txt...). then you can do search and replace in whatever app you use for editing text (dreamweaver, word, open office, etc.).
..ah. Of course. Thanks for that. Turn the pdf into a doc, edit the doc, then convert presumably to an rtf, then load into the Reader.
..I'm beginning to miss paperbacks already..

heh. welcome to the joys of ebooks.

but really, it will get easier once you develop a routine. and, it will be A LOT easier, when you can start with a source which is not pdf...

little tip : if you use calibre for the conversions you can go through them fairly quickly and with minimal effort/ tech skills.
